The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Catapang. No joy for Galacio on that attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Galacio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Catapang - the referee stops the clock and Galacio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Catapang. Galacio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Galacio is bucking up trying to escape but Catapang cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

You can see the frustration on Galacio's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jay Catapang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Catapang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
