The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bone's guard. Nakamura throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bone works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nakamura postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nakamura trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bone managing to control the position. Nakamura working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nakamura throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nakamura has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
