Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heinrich Dieter! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dieter moves out of range of the strikes. Nice takedown defense from Dieter. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dieter tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dieter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dieter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dieter wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jones is pulling down on Dieter's head. It's preventing any offense from Dieter, at least for the moment. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Dieter is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dieter, who protects the arm well. Dieter is trying to get back to half guard. Dieter is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat. Oh, now he's got Dieter's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Dieter is tapping! Jones saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
