Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, You Next! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kim slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Next had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily. Next keeping full guard, as Kim tries to pass. Next working for a triangle but Kim defends it easily.
Next escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Next wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Next looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Next is keeping the position for now. Next controls Kim momentarily but Kim frees himself. Kim prevents Next from getting back to his feet. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Next is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Next with a lazy takedown attempt and Kim counters with a stiff right hand. Next gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kim counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kim. Next looks gassed! Next has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jung Sung Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of You Next. Next goes for a takedown attempt but Kim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Next with a poor takedown and Kim counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nice cross by Kim. Some wild striking there from Kim.
Next with a poor takedown and Kim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim works Next's body with a nice hook. Kim connects with a looping right hand.
Next doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kim counters with a nice body shot. Next on the wrong end of a nice jab. Next slips under a jab from Kim. Next misses with a takedown attempt and Kim counters with a straight right hand. Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kim moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim works Next's body with a nice hook. Next with a poor takedown and Kim counters with a single leg into guard. Next didn't expect that. Kim passes Next's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Next looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kim is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kim controlling the pace for now. Next tries to lock up and control but Kim gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jung Sung Kim dominated that round. That's time! Kim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Next tries for a takedown but Kim circles away easily and Kim counters with a shoot takedown. Next fights it but they end up in guard. Next working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kim. Next is trying to keep Kim in close.
Next has his foot on Kim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kim works his way back into a safe position though. Next preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kim is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Next is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Next has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim looking to sit in guard and control but Next gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Next drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kim looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kim looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kim! Kim gets to mount! Next was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kim controlling from the full mount. Kim sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Next manages to regain half guard. Good work. Next works his way to full guard. Good work. Kim trying to control but Next is working from the bottom. Kim tries to free his leg and advance position but Next is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Next is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Next is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kim controlling from the top position. Kim trying to control but Next is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Next shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kim counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Next drives through with a takedown into guard. Next drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kim looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kim looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kim! Kim working away. Next tries to bench press Kim off him but Kim keeps the position. Next is not content to let Kim control the position. Kim controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kim stuffs the takedown. Next shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Next tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Next somewhat. Jung Sung Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of You Next. Kim scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Next sees it coming and defends easily. Next tries to get to full guard but Kim has control of the leg. Kim wants to control but Next is keeping him busy. Next actively working from the bottom here. Kim is trying to control. Next wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Next regains full guard. Nicely done. Next keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Next looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Next shoots and misses and Kim moves into the clinch. Next drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kim's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Next tries for a takedown. No joy.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kim gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Next.
Next drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kim pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim works Next's body with a nice hook. Jung Sung Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kim scores a takedown into full mount! Next manages to regain half guard. Good work. Next looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Next actively working from the bottom here. You Next has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Next won't allow Kim to pass to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Next is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kim pulls his head out easily. Kim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! Jung Sung Kim showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
