Marks comes to the cage accompanied by "The Way You Like It" by Adema. Derek Marks has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Da La Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks tries to clinch but Da La Rosa moves out of range.
Da La Rosa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Marks is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Da La Rosa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Da La Rosa.
Marks is in trouble now - Da La Rosa has advanced to mount!
Marks has given up his back. Will we see Da La Rosa going for some submissions?

Marks is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Da La Rosa.

Marks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da La Rosa on the ground.

Marks tries to escape but Da La Rosa has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Da La Rosa is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Marks. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Marks can't escape the position.
Da La Rosa has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Marks has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Marks is trying to get back to his feet but Da La Rosa has full control of the position and if anything, Marks has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Da La Rosa is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Marks has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Marks staying busy and making it hard for Da La Rosa to control.
Da La Rosa is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Marks up.
Da La Rosa is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Marks is tapping out! This one is all over!
