Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Skip Kurokaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Moss is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurokaze stuffs the takedown.
Kurokaze doesn't manage to clinch there - Moss circles away.

Moss pushes Kurokaze up against the cage in a clinch.
Moss tries to score a body lock takedown but Kurokaze shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Moss jumps guard and drags Kurokaze to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Moss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kurokaze avoids it really well and circles away.
Billy Moss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kurokaze shoots for a double leg takedown but Moss sprawls well. He's pushed Kurokaze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kurokaze working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moss doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moss manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moss looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kurokaze drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moss pulls his leg out and moves away.

Moss feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Skip Kurokaze will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kurokaze throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moss was covering up waiting for the punch and Kurokaze finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Moss changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kurokaze looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moss drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kurokaze dives on top into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Skip Kurokaze.
