The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Machida.
Terror takes a shot right to the bread basket.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Terror has eaten all the pies!
Machida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Machida throws a series of punches but Terror moves out of range.
Machida lands with a thumping leg kick.
Terror slips a jab and a cross from Machida.
Terror is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Terror drives through with a takedown into guard.

Machida wants to stand and escape but Terror is having none of it.

Terror drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Terror trying to control the position but Machida is working away.
Machida wants to control but Terror postures up.
Machida is looking for a sweep.
Machida gets back to half guard.
Machida pushes Terror off looking to stand but Terror dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown by Terror or perhaps it was just good defense by Machida which made him look bad.
Machida stuffs the takedown.
Helio Machida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drunken Terror.
Terror tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Machida lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Terror sprawling to the canvas. Machida follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Terror hang on?

It looks like Drunken Terror has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Machida is controlling the pace.
Terror is still in real trouble! Can Machida finish him?
Terror tries to get to full guard but Machida has control of the leg.
Terror seems to have recovered his senses.

Machida wants to stand up but Terror has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Machida is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Machida looks to score with a jab to the body but Terror is just out of range.

Terror tries to clinch up.

Terror wants to control but Machida is keeping him busy.
Machida throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Machida throws Terror to one side and escapes!
Machida drops Terror with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Terror! Machida dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
