Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leto Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stokes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holiday. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Stokes! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stokes looks for the body kick but Atreides saw that one coming. Stokes misses with the combination.
Stokes misses with a hook. An inside leg kick from Stokes misses. Atreides throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Atreides is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stokes's half guard. Stokes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Atreides thows a huge punch but Stokes dodges it nicely.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Atreides manages to end up in side control. Atreides remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Atreides creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Stokes sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Atreides with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Atreides keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stokes's head. Stokes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Atreides is proving hard to escape from. Stokes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Atreides bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stokes's guard. Atreides trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stokes being controlled here, momentarily. Marcus Stokes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leto Atreides is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Atreides postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Leto Atreides showed his dominance in that final round. Well Atreides has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
