Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stupid One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stupid One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gustavo Ribeiro! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One is looking to clinch but Ribeiro is avoiding it.
Ribeiro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
One tries to clinch there but Ribeiro circles away.
Ribeiro has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ribeiro there as he acknowledges the shot. One moves in looking to clinch but Ribeiro pushes him off. One misses with the combination.
Ribeiro shoots in and bounces One off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ribeiro is stalling in the full guard. One is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ribeiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ribeiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. One escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ribeiro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribeiro passes easily into side control. Nice work. One is letting Ribeiro control him for a moment. One wants to control but Ribeiro postures up. Ribeiro is looking to take a break and control but One is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ribeiro cracks One with a big right hand but One just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ribeiro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but One is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ribeiro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, One has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One is trying to escape the position but Ribeiro is controlling the position. Ribeiro is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. One knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. One wants to get back to his feet but Ribeiro drags him back down. Ribeiro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, One has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on One's face as Ribeiro controls the position. Ribeiro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. One can't do much from the bottom here. Ribeiro wants to lay and pray for a moment but One keeps working. One is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ribeiro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ribeiro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ribeiro creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. One is trying to get back to half guard. Ribeiro has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Ribeiro is trying hard to land a takedown here. One sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. One tries to close the distance and clinch but Ribeiro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ribeiro keeps the fight on the outside. One throws a nice looking combination but Ribeiro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gustavo Ribeiro dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
One pulls out of a head kick attempt.
One throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ribeiro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. One avoids a punch combination nicely.
One misses with a body punch
and Ribeiro moves into the clinch. Ribeiro wants a takedown but no success here.
One with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ribeiro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. One looks to throw an elbow but misses. One tries to land knees in the clinch but Ribeiro avoids the damage to the body. Ribeiro turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Ribeiro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, One has escaped the position, nice work there. One tries to bench press Ribeiro off him but Ribeiro keeps the position. A lull in the action here as Ribeiro stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. One is trying to get back to half guard. Ribeiro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. One is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ribeiro landing strikes. Ribeiro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro tries for a kimura but One is defending well. Ribeiro is breathing heavily. One is trying to get back to half guard. Ribeiro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ribeiro tries for a kimura but One is defending well. One is not content to let Ribeiro control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One wants to control but Ribeiro postures up. One is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. One is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ribeiro sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ribeiro pushing down on One's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gustavo Ribeiro has got the better of the ground game so far. Ribeiro is working for a submission of some sort.
Ribeiro is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
One wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gustavo Ribeiro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Ribeiro slips under a jab from One. Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ribeiro wants to control from the top but One keeps moving. One looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
One not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
One looking for a guillotine here but Ribeiro defends easily.
Ribeiro won't allow One to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ribeiro passes into half guard. Ribeiro is taking a breather. One says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribeiro passes to full mount! Ribeiro landing shots from mount. Ribeiro controlling the position easily from mount. Ribeiro wants to finish this one by submission but One is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ribeiro. Ribeiro looking to finish One with some ground and pound. This is bad for One! One is in a horrible position here. Ribeiro smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro goes for an armbar but he's not got it… One turns into him and now he's in Ribeiro's guard.
One preventing the sweep. One trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ribeiro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. One is aware though and is defending well. One wants to control from the top but Ribeiro keeps moving. One throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Ribeiro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ribeiro manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
One defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ribeiro. Ribeiro prevents One from getting the reversal. Ribeiro moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, One has worked his arm free - good work by One!
One is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One tries to escape but Ribeiro is in control. One tries to improve position but can't. Ribeiro scores with a couple of short elbows. Ribeiro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on One's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. One is trying to escape the position but Ribeiro is controlling the position. Stupid One has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ribeiro stands up and we're back to a striking position.
And that's the end of the fight! Gustavo Ribeiro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ribeiro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
