Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between HB Pencil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evgeni Klebanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klebanov has chosen Your Worst Nightmare as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, HB Pencil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgeni Klebanov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pencil checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pencil clinches up with Klebanov and pushes him back against the cage. Pencil drops down looking for an ankle pick but Klebanov pulls his leg out and moves away.

Klebanov wants to slow Pencil down by chopping away at his legs. Klebanov misses with a low kick. Klebanov forces Pencil back against the cage and clinches. Klebanov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pencil blocks a body shot from Klebanov. A head punch on the inside from Klebanov fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klebanov gets underhooks to prevent Pencil's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for HB Pencil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Klebanov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Klebanov manages to end up in side control. Pencil is trying to control Klebanov's posture but Klebanov avoids it. Klebanov controls the position. Klebanov moves into full mount! Pencil is trying to stand up. Pencil regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Klebanov seems content to control. Pencil trying to hold on to Klebanov's head to control him but Klebanov postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pencil wants to improve his position but Klebanov is controlling well.
Klebanov stalling. Pencil tries to get to full guard but Klebanov has control of the leg. Pencil tries to kick Klebanov off but Klebanov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Klebanov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Pencil tries to roll over but Klebanov keeps him under control. Pencil tries to kick Klebanov off but Klebanov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Klebanov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evgeni Klebanov dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Klebanov looks for the body kick but Pencil saw that one coming. Pencil stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Klebanov. Pencil fails with an attempt to clinch.

Klebanov is looking to land body kicks. A clash of legs there as Pencil blocks the low kick. An inside leg kick lands from Klebanov. Klebanov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pencil shoots in and bounces Klebanov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Klebanov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pencil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klebanov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pencil. Pencil looking to sit in guard and control but Klebanov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Klebanov won't allow Pencil to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pencil will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pencil wants to stand up but Klebanov is controlling him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Klebanov is looking to chop away at Pencil's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klebanov slaps away a takedown attempt from Pencil, before circling back to the center of the mat. Klebanov throws a low kick but Pencil avoids it. Klebanov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pencil. That did some damage! A slow jab from Klebanov misses its intended target. Klebanov swings away with a leg kick that misses. Pencil tries to clinch up and Klebanov counters with a leg kick. Klebanov tries to clinch but Pencil moves out of range. Pencil closes the distance but Klebanov moves to the side and Klebanov counters with a good low kick that Pencil was not able to check. Klebanov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pencil moves away. Pencil tries to keep at a distance but Klebanov has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klebanov works on Pencil's body with a couple of short punches. Klebanov lands an uppercut. Good body shot from Klebanov.
Klebanov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Klebanov misses with some punches.
Klebanov scores with a shot to the side of Pencil's head. Pencil goes for a takedown in the clinch but Klebanov prevents it.
Pencil tries to pull guard but Klebanov won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for HB Pencil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Klebanov swings wildly with an uppercut but Pencil uses good head movement to avoid it. Pencil tries for a takedown but Klebanov manages to get underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pencil is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A short right from Klebanov on the inside. Klebanov tries to work over Pencil's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Klebanov struggles to land a body shot inside as Pencil controls his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evgeni Klebanov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Klebanov shoots in and bounces Pencil off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Klebanov controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Pencil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Klebanov passes into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pencil wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pencil tries to roll over but Klebanov keeps him under control. Klebanov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Pencil is trying to control but can't.
HB Pencil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Klebanov is controlling the pace.
Klebanov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pencil wants to stand back up but Klebanov manages to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pencil wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Pencil is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Klebanov has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pencil tries to bench press Klebanov off him but Klebanov keeps the position. Klebanov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Evgeni Klebanov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Klebanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
