Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Ginks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Clarkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Ginks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Clarkson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Ginks.
It looks like Jeremy Clarkson has been cut. Clarkson avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Clarkson looks for a takedown but Ginks sprawls well. Ginks pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Clarkson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Clarkson throwing shots but Ginks is blocking nicely. Ginks wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clarkson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ginks to get to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ginks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ginks throws a combination that misses and Clarkson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ginks is working an open guard so Clarkson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Clarkson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ginks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ginks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Buck Ginks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Buck Ginks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Ginks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Buck Ginks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Clarkson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ginks paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ginks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Clarkson on the side of the head. Ginks misses with a hook to the body
and Clarkson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Clarkson seems to be working for a kimura but Ginks defends the submission attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Clarkson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ginks has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ginks wants to get back to his feet. Ginks tries to kick Clarkson off in order to stand up. Clarkson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Ginks is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Some wild striking there from Ginks.
Ginks clinches up against the cage. Ginks is trying to break free. Clarkson is working for takedown but Ginks is calmly controlling the position for now. Ginks looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Clarkson wants a takedown but no success here.

Ginks was covering up waiting for the punch and Clarkson finishes the takedown easily into guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ginks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Clarkson is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Buck Ginks will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Ginks leaves Clarkson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ginks lunges at Clarkson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Clarkson's hand. Clarkson wants to clinch up but Ginks keeps it at a distance. Ginks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ginks pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ginks fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ginks looks to land a combination. Clarkson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Clarkson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Ginks takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ginks is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Clarkson is controlling him well. Clarkson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ginks tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ginks wants to try and get back to his feet. Clarkson landing strikes from the mount and Ginks is in trouble! Ginks wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Clarkson scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Clarkson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ginks looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Clarkson! Submission of the night perhaps?
