Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between nam phan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jahangir Hooshmand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for nam phan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

phan just misses with a punch to the body.
Jahangir Hooshmand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hooshmand uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by phan.

Hooshmand has gone for a leg lock! phan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hooshmand's guard.

phan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hooshmand has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, phan has managed to get both his arms back between Hooshmand's legs - danger averted.
