Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kidd Brusko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rube Lukas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brusko has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lukas cracks Brusko with a big elbow.
Brusko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lukas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lukas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brusko, up you get!

Brusko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brusko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Brusko distracts Lukas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lukas lands with a heel strike from the guard.

Brusko throws a strike but Lukas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Brusko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lukas won't allow Brusko to sweep him here.

Lukas decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Lukas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brusko!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Brusko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Brusko blocks a head kick by Lukas.
Brusko dodges the punch combination from Lukas.
Lukas doesn't manage to clinch there - Brusko circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Lukas.
Lukas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brusko is fending him off so far but Lukas persists. Nope, Brusko circles away and we're back to standing.
Lukas shoots in but no luck this time.
Lukas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A combination from Brusko does no damage.
Brusko gets caught flat footed, as Lukas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brusko is working an open guard so Lukas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lukas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brusko throws a right hand that misses
and Lukas counters with a shoot takedown. Brusko fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lukas stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lukas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brusko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brusko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lukas throws a right and a left that Brusko avoids nicely.

Lukas throws a head kick but Brusko moves out of range.
Brusko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lukas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brusko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brusko's back!

Brusko won't enjoy being in this position. Lukas looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Brusko is tapping - it's over boys! Lukas picks up the submission victory!
