Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sawyer comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Stop Believin', Bitches!. The key to victory for Rex Sawyer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rex Sawyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kent drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sawyer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sawyer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sawyer! Sawyer wants to control but Kent is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kent is trying to improve his position. Kent is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sawyer throws a strike aimed at the side of Kent's head but Kent avoids it well. Kent tries to buck Sawyer off but Sawyer is having none of it. Sawyer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kent sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Kent regains half guard. Sawyer tries to stand and escape but Kent is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kent shoots in for a double leg but Sawyer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sawyer misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent defending well as Sawyer loads up on a big left hand. Sawyer has his takedown stuffed and Kent counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sawyer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sawyer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kent should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Sawyer tries to roll over but Kent keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sawyer wants to control but Kent is keeping busy.
Kent seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent thows a huge punch but Sawyer dodges it nicely.
Sawyer wants to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sawyer loads up on a big right hand but Kent slips the punch. Sawyer is looking to land body kicks. Kent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sawyer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sawyer. Kent throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sawyer escapes and throws Kent's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kent looks gassed! Sawyer advances nicely into full mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kent is looking to get to half guard. Sawyer stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sawyer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kent has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kent can't do much from the bottom here. Sawyer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kent, who protects the arm well. Kent regains half guard. Kent wants to improve his position but Sawyer is controlling well.
Sawyer is thwarting Kent's attempts to control the position. Sawyer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kent wants to control the action here but instead Sawyer manages to pass to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sawyer looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Sawyer controlling from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sawyer landing strikes from the mount and Kent is in trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Sawyer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sawyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Kent counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sawyer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kent preventing the sweep. Kent looking to sit in guard and control but Sawyer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kent has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sawyer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sawyer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kent throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kent keeping moving, preventing Sawyer from controlling successfully. Kent is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sawyer won't allow Kent to sweep him here. Sawyer slips nicely into half guard. Kent is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sawyer pulls his head out easily. Sawyer is keen to just control but Kent is a slippery customer. Sawyer is trying for a kimura here. Kent looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sawyer wins by kimura!
