The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
smith makes his way to full guard. A much better position for smith.
smith throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
smith is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Johnson gets to his feet. smith looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
smith tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily
and Johnson counters with a left to the body.
Johnson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Johnson duly obliges.
smith looks gassed!
smith has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson lands with a right that hurts smith. smith looks to clinch but Johnson throws a short knee that drops smith. This one is all over!
