Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Rock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Lang!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang forces Rock back against the cage and clinches.
Lang prevents Rock from breaking the clinch.
Rock lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lang backwards.
Rock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lang scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A combination from Lang does no damage.
Lang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rock circles away quickly and effectively.
A slow jab from Lang misses its intended target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A left and a right from Rock both land. Nice combination.
Lang rushes Rock and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rock lands a nice shot that snaps Lang's head back.
Lang throws a lazy right hand but Rock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lang circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lang counters with a three punch combo that has Rock backing up. Rock nods at Lang to acknowledge the strikes.
Rock wants to clinch.
Rock circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rock tries to clinch up
and Lang counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Tommy Rock has been cut.
Lang lands with a cross.
Rock closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rock thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lang lands a left and a right that send Rock crashing to the mat, dazed. Lang thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lang drops Rock with a naaaaasty hook - Rock is in real trouble here! Lang dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Lang!
