The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from gomez.
Tenenbaum cracks gomez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
gomez avoids the body shot from Tenenbaum.
Tenenbaum bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tenenbaum misses with a straight left.
gomez swings for the body but Tenenbaum moves out of range.

and gomez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
gomez is working for a kimura but Tenenbaum is defending it quite comfortably.
gomez is trying to control. Tenenbaum wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

gomez seems to be working for a kimura but Tenenbaum defends the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

gomez shoots in but Tenenbaum avoids the takedown attempt easily.
BOOM! Tenenbaum lands a beautiful left hook that drops gomez. gomez tries to recover but Tenenbaum is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and gomez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
