Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Fontana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Benton! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fontana fails with the takedown. Fontana digs a good hook to Benton's body.
Benton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A punch combination from Fontana misses. Fontana tests Benton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Bob Benton has been cut. Fontana falls off balance throwing a combination
and Benton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fontana swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fontana takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. This has been an exciting period of action! Fontana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Benton counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fontana's knee momentarily. Fontana has his takedown stuffed enabling Benton to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Fontana. That's going to take a lot out of him. Benton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fontana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fontana is breathing heavily. Benton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fontana's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benton works over Fontana's head and body with a nice combination. Fontana blocks a low kick nicely. Fontana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Benton counters with a head kick that drops Fontana to the mat! Fontana scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fontana is rocked! Benton throws an overhand right that has Fontana reeling! Benton follows up with more punches and Fontana is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bob Benton!
