Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heath Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zhorka Popkin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Popkin misses.
Popkin throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It looks like Heath Miller has been cut.
Popkin digs a good body shot into Miller's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Popkin waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Miller. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Miller to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Popkin wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.

Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Popkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Popkin is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him.

Miller throws a right and a left that Popkin avoids nicely.
Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Popkin circles away quickly and effectively.
Popkin throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it.

Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Popkin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Popkin is trying to break the clinch but Miller has him pressed against the cage.

Good leg kick by Miller there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Miller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Popkin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Miller has Popkin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Popkin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Miller has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Popkin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heath Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miller manages to end up in side control.

Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Popkin, who protects the arm well.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miller jumps guard and drags Popkin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
