The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Dominguez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Pham.

Pham has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Dominguez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pham's knee momentarily.

Pham misses with a takedown attempt - Dominguez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dominguez but Dominguez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dominguez feints and as Pham raises his hands in defense, Dominguez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dominguez manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Dominguez counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pham checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Pham throws a sloppy head kick and Dominguez moves out of range easily.

Dominguez lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dominguez is pressed up against the cage. Pham has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dominguez down to the mat. Dominguez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pham darts in trying to clinch
and Dominguez counters with a nice body shot.
Dominguez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dominguez showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pham is trying to maintain the position but Dominguez is very close to passing his half guard.

and Dominguez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pham misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Pham lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

enabling Dominguez to counter with a crisp jab.

Dominguez blocks a head kick by Pham.
Pham chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dominguez can pounce on him.
Pham takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pham shoots and misses
and Dominguez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pham's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dominguez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Pham throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Dominguez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pham dodges the punch combination from Dominguez.
Dominguez has Pham up against the cage in a clinch.
Dominguez manages to break the clinch.
Dominguez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pham to the canvas! Pham doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Dominguez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
