Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leon Rivers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sid Wright! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rivers throws a hook but Wright blocks it. Rivers ducks under a wild hook from Wright. Wright fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rivers manages to avoid it. Rivers fails to land the takedown. Wright takes a swing at Rivers's ribcage but misses. Rivers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wright throws a shot from downtown. Rivers moves away and avoids it.
Wright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rivers was covering up waiting for the punch and Wright finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wright controlling from the top position. Rivers pulls Wright in close to his closed guard and prevents Wright from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wright working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rivers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wright wants to pass the guard but Rivers is keeping the position. Wright trying to control the position from guard on top but Rivers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wright drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rivers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wright has Rivers in his guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rivers keeping moving, preventing Wright from controlling successfully. Wright trying to move into half guard but instead Rivers has managed to sweep! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wright wants to sweep but no luck. Rivers postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rivers lands a couple of elbows. Rivers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wright's guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Leon Rivers will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Wright counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wright loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wright stays in close to Rivers's body and controls the position. Wright postures up in Rivers's guard and throws a big left but Rivers blocks it. Wright trying to control but Rivers is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wright is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rivers keeping full guard, as Wright tries to pass.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rivers throws an overhand right that lands on Wright's shoulder, as Wright tries to avoid the shot. Leon Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wright throws a nice looking combination but Rivers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rivers tries for a takedown but Wright circles away easily
and Wright counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rivers! Rivers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Wright goes for an armbar but he's not got it� Rivers turns into him and now he's in Wright's guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rivers is one step ahead there.
Wright has his foot on Rivers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rivers works his way back into a safe position though. Rivers looking to pass the guard. Rivers stopping the sweep attempt from Wright. Wright not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wright avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rivers sizes up Wright with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Rivers tries for a takedown but Wright circles away easily
and Wright counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rivers won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Rivers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wright is trying to get an arm triangle but Rivers is defending well.
Wright goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rivers rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wright's guard! Nice work there by Rivers! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sid Wright showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wright on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wright fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rivers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wright throws a jab when Rivers was well out of range. Wright thows a body shot but no joy. Nice jab there from Rivers. Rivers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wright counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rivers! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivers tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rivers is squirming around, avoiding Wright's attempts to control the action. Wright moves to the back.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright looking for the choke from the back. Well, with Wright on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Rivers is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Wright has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Rivers trying to control the position but Wright manages to sink in the hooks.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wright missing with strikes from the back. Rivers avoids the strikes from Wright. Sid Wright has got the better of the ground game so far. Wright struggling to land strikes to the head as Rivers covers up.
Wright working for a choke but Rivers is defending well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright trying to control momentarily.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wright has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rivers has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight! Sid Wright comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Wright has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
