Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rumple Stiltzkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Krespo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiltzkin comes to the cage accompanied by Solitaire Unraveling. Rumple Stiltzkin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alvin Krespo! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krespo shoots for a double leg takedown but Stiltzkin sprawls well. He's pushed Krespo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Krespo fails with the takedown. Krespo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stiltzkin as he jumps to the side. Rumple Stiltzkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvin Krespo. Horrible takedown by Krespo or perhaps it was just good defense by Stiltzkin which made him look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krespo throws a head kick but Stiltzkin moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Krespo is desperately trying to improve his position but Stiltzkin has a good base and remains in mount. Krespo tries to lock up and control but Stiltzkin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Krespo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stiltzkin misses with a head shot. Krespo wants to control but Stiltzkin is having none of it. Stiltzkin thowing shots but they're missing. Krespo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Krespo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Krespo tries to hold on but Stiltzkin pushes him away. Stiltzkin throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Krespo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stiltzkin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Krespo throws a solid leg kick but Stiltzkin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Krespo. Krespo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stiltzkin to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Krespo has control of Stiltzkin's left arm, preventing Stiltzkin from doing any damage. Krespo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Krespo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Krespo looking to control.
Krespo looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Stiltzkin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Krespo wants to control but Stiltzkin passes into side.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stiltzkin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krespo pulls Stiltzkin in close to prevent any damage. Stiltzkin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Krespo is trying to keep Stiltzkin in close.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Krespo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Krespo is looking to regain half guard here but Stiltzkin keeps moving and retains side control. Krespo is not content to let Stiltzkin control the position. Krespo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stiltzkin working away.

Krespo is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stiltzkin is staying active.

Krespo wants to control the position but Stiltzkin says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Krespo keeping control of the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Rumple Stiltzkin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Stiltzkin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
