Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lashley shoots in but Bassett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bassett stuffs the takedown attempt from lashley. lashley gets slowly back to his feet.
Bassett lands a straight punch to the body, keeping lashley at a distance.
lashley closes the distance and clinches up with Bassett, looking for a takedown. lashley pushes Bassett against the cage but Bassett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bertie Bassett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of bobby lashley.
Bassett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
lashley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bassett avoids it really well and circles away.
Bassett could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
lashley looks gassed!
Bassett fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bassett shoots in for a double leg but lashley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
lashley stuffs the takedown.
Bassett scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
lashley is not content to let Bassett control the position.
Bassett is working to tighten is grip on lashley's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. lashley has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bassett is really squeezing tight and eventually lashley passes out! Bassett breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
