The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by Welles.
Li shoots in but no luck this time.
Good standup being displayed there by Welles as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Hei Li has been cut.
Li is breathing heavily.
Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Welles circles away.
Welles lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Welles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Welles scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Welles throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Li is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
