Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marillo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Kharghai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kharghai's choice of entrance music: Kid Rock Bawitdaba . Vadim Kharghai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharghai changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kharghai tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Kharghai throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The strikes coming from Kharghai are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kharghai lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gracie down.
Kharghai tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kharghai trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Kharghai might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gracie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kharghai in side control, throwing shots but Gracie defends.

Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kharghai wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Kharghai controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kharghai closes the distance and clinches.
Kharghai tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gracie has hold of one of Kharghai's legs. Kharghai is fighting the takedown attempt but Gracie gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Kharghai gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kharghai chips away with some ground and pound.
Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kharghai.
Gracie working for a triangle but Kharghai defends it easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kharghai passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kharghai in side control lands a decent elbow.

Gracie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kharghai connects with a decent elbow.
Kharghai misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kharghai misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kharghai in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Gracie dodges the ground and pound from Kharghai.
Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kharghai trying to control from half guard but Gracie is working away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kharghai not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kharghai is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kharghai tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Gracie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kharghai scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kharghai wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vadim Kharghai dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kharghai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Kharghai counters with a left and a right... And another left! Gracie is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadim Kharghai!
