Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rekker tries to land a front kick but TW steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
TW keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rekker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Henri TW has been cut.
TW takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rekker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
TW shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rekker sprawls well. Rekker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. TW gets slowly back to his feet.
Rekker fails to land with a series of punches.
Rekker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from TW.
Rekker tries a head kick but it misses.
TW steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rekker.
Rekker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by TW.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
TW feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

TW wants to pass the guard but Rekker is keeping the position.
Rekker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Rekker can't break the clinch.

Rekker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Damon Rekker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rekker. TW does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
TW shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
TW looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
TW throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rekker because TW loaded up on that one.
Rekker is breathing heavily.
TW sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
TW working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rekker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by TW! Submission of the night perhaps?
