Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Cole looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Slaughter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeremy Cole! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole shoots in but Slaughter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cole looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Cole shoots in for a takedown but Slaughter shows good takedown defense. Cole closes the distance and clinches up with Slaughter, looking for a takedown. Cole pushes Slaughter against the cage but Slaughter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Paul Slaughter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Cole. Slaughter moves out of range of the strikes. Slaughter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Slaughter looking to secure an arm triangle but Cole defends it well. Slaughter tries to control but Cole wriggling away. Slaughter is trying to take his opponent's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cole wants to hold on but Slaughter pushes him away. Cole is wriggling around trying to escape.
Slaughter is working for a guillotine from mount but Cole frees his head quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slaughter seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Cole is holding on tight.
Cole is squirming around, avoiding Slaughter's attempts to control the action. Slaughter goes for an armbar but Cole turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cole. Slaughter pulls Cole in close to his closed guard and prevents Cole from doing any damage or advancing position. Cole connects with a couple of short punches. Slaughter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slaughter working for a triangle but Cole defends it easily.
Slaughter throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slaughter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cole is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Slaughter has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cole is looking to defend but Slaughter has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cole! Slaughter pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cole taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Paul Slaughter!
