Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vhay Phudido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gedo Sake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gedo Sake will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vhay Phudido! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gedo Sake! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phudido shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sake napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sake is looking for a sweep. Phudido is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sake has escaped the position, nice work there. Phudido is trying to get an arm triangle but Sake is defending well. Phudido looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Phudido working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Phudido is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sake knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Phudido thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Phudido is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sake can't do much from the bottom here. Phudido tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Phudido has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sake is looking to reverse the position. Sake is trying to control Phudido's posture but Phudido avoids it. Sake is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Phudido off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sake lands an elbow to the side of the head. Phudido defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Phudido covering up well and avoiding damage. Sake is hanging on to Phudido's back as he tries to escape.
Sake trying to control momentarily.
Phudido manages to reverse the position and now he's in Sake's guard. Nice work there by Phudido.
Sake looking to control.
Phudido postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sake is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Phudido, into his guard. Sake wants to control from the top but Phudido keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phudido working for a triangle but Sake defends it easily.
Sake wanted to stand there but Phudido had control of the position. Sake controls from within his opponent's guard. Phudido is working an open guard so Sake takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sake bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Phudido regains half guard. Phudido looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sake trying to pass the guard but Phudido defending well. Phudido wants to improve his position but Sake is controlling well.
Sake prevents Phudido from standing back up.
Sake wants to stand up but Phudido has a hold of him and won't allow it. Phudido is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Phudido looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vhay Phudido dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sake. Sake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Phudido. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sake wants to control but Phudido is keeping him busy. Phudido wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Phudido sneaks back into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Phudido manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sake is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Phudido has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sake is looking to defend but Phudido has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sake! Phudido pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sake taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vhay Phudido!
