Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Nickells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalia Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nickells comes to the cage accompanied by Kayne West - Stronger. Forrest Nickells looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dalia Calypso!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calypso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nickells stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nickells wants it to stay on the feet.

Calypso with a poor takedown

and Nickells counters with a single leg into guard. Calypso didn't expect that.

Calypso manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nickells manages to get himself to full guard.
Calypso is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Calypso is pushing down on Nickells's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nickells is fighting to maintain full guard but Calypso has managed to sneak the leg through.

Calypso is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nickells can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Dalia Calypso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Calypso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
