Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toki Wartooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jag Smits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wartooth comes to the ring accompanied by Murmaider. Smits has chosen Kanye West - Amazing as his entrance music. Toki Wartooth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wartooth pushes Smits up against the ropes in a clinch.
Wartooth goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Smits tries for a takedown. No joy.
Smits goes for a takedown attempt but Wartooth pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Wartooth moves into the clinch.
Wartooth lands a body shot in the clinch.
Smits controlling the action here for a moment.
Smits has a couple of punches blocked by Wartooth.
A hook to the body from Smits.
Smits trying to control the position but instead, Wartooth has worked for underhooks and has pushed Smits into the ropes.
Smits throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wartooth blocks it with crossed arms.

Wartooth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toki Wartooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smits closes the distance and clinches up with Wartooth, looking for a takedown. Smits pushes Wartooth against the ropes but Wartooth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Toki Wartooth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jag Smits.
Wartooth throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wartooth bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smits's head.
Wartooth with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Smits looks gassed!
Smits takes one to the side of the head.
Wartooth throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smits's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Wartooth. That's going to slow Smits down.

Wartooth misses with a wild body shot.
Wartooth looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wartooth feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smits's calf.
A slow jab from Smits misses its intended target.
Some wild striking there from Smits.
Smits keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smits with a jab.

Wartooth takes the fight into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wartooth.
Wartooth presses Smits against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Smits misses with a punch on the inside.

Wartooth pulls guard.
Wartooth looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wartooth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smits defends well.

Wartooth is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wartooth trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Wartooth looking for a sweep. Not yet Wartooth, not yet.
Smits stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wartooth swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wartooth looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wartooth wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Smits throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Smits tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Wartooth paws at him with a jab and circles away.
An inside leg kick from Wartooth misses.

Smits feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Smits drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wartooth manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smits has Wartooth in his guard.
Smits has a closed guard, preventing Wartooth from standing up.
Smits keeping moving, preventing Wartooth from controlling successfully.

Wartooth passes into half guard.
Wartooth moves into full mount! Smits won't be happy about that!
Smits keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Smits regains half guard.
Smits is refusing to be controlled, as Wartooth sits in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wartooth is really struggling to control Smits but he's trying to hold on to the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Toki Wartooth dominated that round.
That's time! Wartooth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Smits takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Smits is rocked!
Wartooth lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Smits - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Wartooth!
