Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Naysmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nam Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shelton Naysmith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nam Brookins! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naysmith throws a series of punches but Brookins avoids them all with ease. Brookins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Naysmith's calf. Brookins rushes Naysmith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Brookins lands a takedown into guard.
Naysmith is trying to keep Brookins in close.
Brookins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Naysmith swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brookins pushes down on Naysmith's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brookins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Brookins works his way into side control. Brookins sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Naysmith is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Naysmith's face as Brookins controls the position. Brookins has control of an arm but Naysmith manages to advance to Brookins's back! Brookins staying busy and making it hard for Naysmith to control. Naysmith doesn't have the hooks in and Brookins manages to turn into his guard.
Brookins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brookins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brookins stays in close to Naysmith's body and controls the position. Brookins wants to pass the guard but Naysmith is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brookins slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Naysmith working a defensive guard but Brookins manages to pass into side control anyway.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Brookins decides to stand back up. Brookins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Naysmith is breathing heavily. Brookins sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I looks like Brookins might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Brookins looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Naysmith is refusing to be controlled, as Brookins sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brookins lands with a punch from half guard. Brookins decides to stand up. Brookins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Brookins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brookins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brookins looking for a sweep. Not yet Brookins, not yet. Brookins has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nam Brookins dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Naysmith fails with the takedown and Brookins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brookins's corner is telling him to maintain position. Naysmith wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brookins manages to pass to side control. Brookins sitting and controlling from the half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nam Brookins. Naysmith darts in trying to clinch and Brookins counters with a single leg into guard. Naysmith didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brookins stays in close to Naysmith's body and controls the position. Brookins gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Naysmith throws a combination that misses and Brookins counters by clinching up. Brookins is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Naysmith can't fight it off and eventually Brookins manages to take the fight to the floor. Naysmith looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nam Brookins has got the better of the ground game so far. Brookins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brookins wants to control from the top but Naysmith keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brookins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brookins throwing strikes from guard but Naysmith blocks nicely. Brookins stands up from guard. Let's bang! Shelton Naysmith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Naysmith fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brookins has closed the distance and engaged Naysmith in a clinch.
Naysmith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brookins.
Naysmith looks to throw an elbow but misses. Naysmith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Brookins has Naysmith pressed against the cage, preventing Naysmith from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Naysmith looking to stall.
Brookins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Naysmith shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brookins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Naysmith's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shelton Naysmith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brookins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Naysmith, up you get! Naysmith clinches but Brookins breaks the clinch and Brookins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Naysmith won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Naysmith is trying to get back to half guard. Brookins moves into full mount! Brookins has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brookins controlling his opponent. Brookins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Naysmith is surviving well by controlling Brookins's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nam Brookins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brookins looking to control and managing it successfully. Brookins landing strikes from the mount. Naysmith is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Brookins has taken his back! Naysmith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brookins on the ground. Brookins lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Naysmith.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Naysmith takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Brookins is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Brookins has got one arm under Naysmith's chin. This could be trouble... Naysmith trying to control the other hand but Brookins gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Naysmith has tapped out! The fight is over!
