Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guapo Obispo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and billy westcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Guapo Obispo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, billy westcott! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obispo closes the distance and clinches up with westcott, looking for a takedown. Obispo pushes westcott against the cage but westcott circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Horrible takedown by Obispo or perhaps it was just good defense by westcott which made him look bad. westcott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Obispo as he jumps to the side. westcott keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. westcott misses with a head kick.
Obispo leaves westcott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obispo tries for a takedown but westcott circles away easily so westcott counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guapo Obispo. That's going to take a lot out of him. westcott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Obispo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as westcott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Obispo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. westcott has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Obispo is proving hard to escape from. Obispo trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obispo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but westcott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Obispo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! westcott escapes and throws Obispo's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. westcott working the ground and pound but Obispo is defending the strikes. westcott postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Obispo dodges the ground and pound from westcott. Obispo is looking to regain half guard here but westcott keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Obispo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. westcott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. westcott throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! westcott throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
billy westcott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Horrible takedown by westcott or perhaps it was just good defense by Obispo which made him look bad. westcott lands a head shot. Obispo misses with a takedown and westcott counters with a takedown into side control. westcott decides to take the fight back to the feet. westcott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obispo doesn't succeed with the takedown and westcott counters with a one-two to the body. westcott tries to clinch there but Obispo circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. westcott wants to stand but Obispo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. westcott is taking a breather. Obispo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Obispo is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Obispo has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, westcott escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by westcott! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. westcott lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Obispo down.
Obispo is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. westcott looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Obispo is avoiding damage well.
Obispo is trying to get back to half guard. westcott throws an elbow but Obispo slips to the side and avoids it well. westcott fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
billy westcott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position. westcott wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Obispo looking to throw knees to the head but westcott is blocking nicely.

Guapo Obispo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obispo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and westcott counters with a series of strikes. Obispo will be more careful next time no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. westcott throws a head kick that misses. westcott shoots in and bounces Obispo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. westcott stopping the sweep attempt from Obispo. westcott throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Obispo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Obispo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from westcott. westcott throwing strikes from guard but Obispo blocks nicely. westcott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obispo is looking for a triangle here but westcott uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. westcott throwing shots but missing, from side control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. westcott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. westcott throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Obispo was covering up waiting for the punch and westcott finishes the takedown easily into guard. Obispo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Guapo Obispo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! westcott postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Obispo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of westcott, into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! billy westcott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got westcott winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
