Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Lashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshin Himura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenshin Himura looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Lashton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenshin Himura! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lashton doesn't manage to clinch there - Himura circles away.
Himura keeps the fight on the outside. Lashton wants to clinch up but Himura keeps it at a distance. Dan Lashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Himura with a body punch. A glancing blow. The fight stays on the outside here - Lashton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Lashton. Himura changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lashton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Himura in side control, just content to control the action for now. Himura lands an elbow. Himura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lashton is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lashton is pushing Himura's head away, looking to escape. Himura manages to hold on to the position though. Himura stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lashton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lashton is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Himura drives through with a takedown into guard. Lashton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Himura controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Himura looks gassed! Himura pushes down on Lashton's leg and manages to get into half guard. Himura perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Himura prevents Lashton from improving his position. Himura wants to pass the guard but Lashton is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Himura seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Himura prevents Lashton from improving his position. Himura wants to free his trapped foot but Lashton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Himura decides to return to a standing position. Lashton tries to clinch there but Himura circles away.
Himura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick by Lashton misses and Himura counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lashton's guard now. Himura is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Himura stands and throws Lashton's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Himura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Himura is working Lashton over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Himura in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lashton is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
