Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davi Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nunes's entrance music is Riverside. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nunes.
Rodriguez blocks a jab.
Rodriguez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nunes defends it nicely.
Nunes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Rodriguez 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Rodriguez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunes's waist but Nunes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rodriguez off to one side.
Rodriguez dives in and grabs Nunes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nunes pushes down on Rodriguez's head and hops out.

I would just about give that final round to Davi Rodriguez.
Well Nunes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
