The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirus moves into range and clinches up with Borba.
Cirus looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cirus is looking to control Borba's arms but Borba gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cirus has his back to the cage.
Borba tries to stall but Cirus uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Borba tries to score a body lock takedown but Cirus shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cirus controlling the action here for a moment.
Cirus has had enough of the clinch but Borba keeps him there for the moment.
Borba is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cirus is pressed up against the cage. Borba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cirus down to the mat. Cirus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tom Cirus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Borba.
Cirus tries to clinch but Borba is having none of it.
Borba avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cirus is looking to clinch but Borba is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Borba closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Borba is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cirus is trying to escape and Borba transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cirus is forced to tap! Nice work there by Borba! Very nice indeed!
