Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Maria. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kong Le! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Miller! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Le throws a leg kick which misses Miller's front leg but catches the back leg as Miller tries to avoid it. Le will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Le checks a leg kick nicely. Le just misses with a punch to the body.
Le does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Miller blocks a low kick nicely. Miller with a nice cross. Le keeps the fight on the outside. Miller bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Le swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Miller lands a jab to Le's midsection. Miller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Le doesn't seem bothered though. Le stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Marcus Miller has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller thows a body shot but no joy. Miller takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Miller throws a hook but Le avoids it easily. Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Miller wants to clinch. Miller lands a nice looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Miller's corner calls for a 1-2. Miller obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Kong Le has been cut. Le takes a body punch but keeps moving. Good exchange - Miller coming out on top. Miller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Le has time to react. Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Marcus Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Le cracks the inside of Miller's front leg. Miller tries to land a leg kick but Le saw it coming and moves away.
Le feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down. Le is looking to chop away at Miller's legs. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Le swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Le circles away.
Miller lands a body shot.
Le throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Le thows a leg kick but Miller checks it and Miller counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Le throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Miller takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Miller throws a shot to the body.

Le is breathing heavily. A looping hook to the body misses from Le. Miller does a little dance to reset his feet. Le throws a leg kick but Miller checks it. Left hook, right uppercut from Miller. Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Le on the side of the head. Miller missing with a left hand there. Le was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Le misses with a low kick as Miller jumps back. Miller with a body punch. A glancing blow. Le throws a sloppy body shot
and Miller counters with a right hand to the body. Le avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Le steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miller. Le takes a shot right to the bread basket. Le slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Le rather than just go for the knockout. Miller cracks a nice hook into Le's ribs. Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Miller scores with a jab to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Miller. That's going to slow Le down. Le drops his hands momentarily and Miller takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Le takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Miller lands with a right hand. No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good work by Le as he checks the leg kick. Miller misses with a low kick.
Miller moves into the clinch successfully.

Le is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Miller throws an elbow but it's blocked.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Le is keeping busy. Miller looking to throw knees to the head but Le is blocking nicely.
Miller misses with the head strike.
Miller is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Le lands a shoulder strike. Miller misses with an elbow strike.
Le blocks an elbow strike. Le swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Le avoids a wild elbow strike from Miller. Le managing to block the knees to the body from Miller.

Nice elbow from Miller. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A battle for position here, against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Le will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Miller up against the cage. Miller throws an elbow but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Miller dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Le slips a jab from Miller. Miller throws a head kick that misses and Le counters with a low kick, right behind Miller 's knee. Le throws a leg kick but Miller moved away. Miller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Le has time to react. Miller avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miller, right into the meat.
Le lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Marcus Miller seems to be getting the better of the standup. Le circles away from the clinch attempt and Le counters with a flying knee that drops Miller! Le dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
