Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthor Basilicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthor Basilicus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anthor Basilicus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kung Lee!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basilicus misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Basilicus's shoulder, as Basilicus tries to avoid the shot.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Basilicus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Basilicus staying out of range there.
Lee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Basilicus has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lee.
Lee fails to land with a series of punches.

and Lee counters with a nice body kick.

and Lee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lee tries to bum rush Basilicus with a series of wild strikes but Basilicus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Basilicus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Basilicus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Basilicus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Kung Lee dominated that round.

Kung Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee tries to clinch there but Basilicus circles away.
Basilicus wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.

and Basilicus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Basilicus fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lee is out of range.
Basilicus bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Basilicus thows a body shot but no joy.
A head kick by Lee misses
and Basilicus makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Basilicus looks to land a body kick but Lee moved away.
Basilicus is looking to wear down Lee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Lee counters with a two punch combo.
Basilicus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Basilicus.
Lee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Basilicus throws out a leg kick but Lee moves out of range and Basilicus only half commits.
Basilicus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lee lands a high kick!

Basilicus wants to slow Lee down by chopping away at his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Basilicus throws a lazy body kick
and Lee counters with a thumping low kick.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kung Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee throws a low kick, looking for Basilicus's leg but Basilicus calmly moves out of range.
Basilicus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Basilicus wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.

Basilicus misses with a kick to the body
and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Lee misses with a body punch
and Basilicus finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Basilicus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.
Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Basilicus moves out of range of the strikes.

and Basilicus counters with an outside leg kick.
Basilicus misses with a low kick.
And that's the end of the fight!
Anthor Basilicus showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Basilicus has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
