Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Rabbit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Mucao! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mucao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rabbit dodges the punch combination from Mucao.
Rabbit takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rabbit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mucao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mucao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rabbit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rabbit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mucao is trying to control the position but Rabbit postures up. Rabbit lands a couple of digs. Rabbit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mucao looking for a sweep. Not yet Mucao, not yet. Mucao working for a triangle but Rabbit defends it easily.
Rabbit postures up and lands a big shot to Mucao's brow. Mucao can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rabbit controls the pace. Mucao is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rabbit rolls with it to try and escape but Mucao cranks on the arm and Rabbit is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
