Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takishi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Musk to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Takishi working for a triangle but Musk defends it easily.
Musk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takishi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Musk has managed to get both his arms back between Takishi's legs - danger averted.
Musk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Takishi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Musk uses it to pass to side control.
Takishi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Takishi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Musk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Musk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Takishi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Takishi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Musk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Musk's back!
Takishi is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Musk knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Musk for a finish.

Slusken Musk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Musk winds up and cracks Takishi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Takishi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Musk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
