Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Danske (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Ricardo Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alan Danske has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Danske! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Ricardo Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danske throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Danske misses with a hook. Danske misses the shot to the body. Danske swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danske misses with a straight right. A jab from Danske finds it's way through Alvarez's defenses. Danske looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Danske ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alvarez moves away. Danske wants to clinch. Alvarez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Alvarez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Alvarez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Alvarez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danske taking punishment in the form of punches.
Alvarez swings around for an armbar but Danske sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Alvarez's guard. Alvarez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Danske tries to stand but Alvarez is controlling from the bottom. Alvarez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Danske can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Danske knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alvarez on the ground. Alvarez looks gassed! Alvarez looking for a guillotine here but Danske defends easily.
Alvarez has a closed guard, preventing Danske from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alvarez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Danske is one step ahead there. Danske wanted to stand there but Alvarez had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alvarez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alvarez is working an open guard so Danske takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Danske ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alvarez moves away. Alvarez walks straight into a right hand from Danske - that's dropped him! Danske jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Alvarez from any more punishment! Alvarez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
