The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Malelei as he avoids it easily.
Malelei looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Malelei lands with a nice body punch.
Malelei throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Malelei lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Lenny Jones has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malelei swivels and escapes.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jones looks gassed!
Malelei darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Jones's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Malelei before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
