Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Savage had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hernandez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Savage somewhat.
Savage dives in and grabs Hernandez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hernandez pushes down on Savage's head and hops out.
Hernandez lands a nice looking body shot.
Hernandez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Savage.

Hernandez drops Savage with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Savage looks back up at him and smiles so Hernandez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Savage is rocked!

Savage is breathing heavily.
Savage circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Hernandez. Savage falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Hernandez!
