Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a right hand that Unity ducks under and follows up with a left that Unity also avoids with ease.
A swing and a miss from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Unity looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Unity is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Emelianenko off and has taken his back!

Emelianenko manages to reverse the position and now he's in Unity's guard. Nice work there by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Unity shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Emelianenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Emelianenko is not content to let Unity control the position.
Emelianenko is trying to stand up here but Unity is controlling him well.
Unity is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Emelianenko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Unity.
Emelianenko is defending against the submission attempts here by Unity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Unity is looking for a kimura but Emelianenko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Unity to get the leverage.
Emelianenko is trying to maintain the position but Unity is very close to passing his half guard.
Emelianenko holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Unity is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Emelianenko wants to control but Unity is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Unity stops Emelianenko from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Unity is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Emelianenko is just riding it out for now. Unity eventually gives up the hold.
Unity looks gassed!
Unity looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Emelianenko is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Unity has his takedown stuffed
and Emelianenko counters with a good low kick that Unity was not able to check.
A combination from Emelianenko does no damage.
Emelianenko swinging wildly here.
Aleksander Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice combo by Emelianenko! Oh, that's hurt him - Unity falls to the canvas and Emelianenko follows him into side control.
Emelianenko stands up and beckons Unity to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Emelianenko thuds a left hand into Unity's body.
Emelianenko tries to clinch but Unity is having none of it.
Unity shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Emelianenko counters with a straight right hand.
Emelianenko ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Unity's jaw. Unity's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Emelianenko does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aleksander Emelianenko!
