Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Derek Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby TupperII! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos doesn't manage to clinch there - TupperII circles away.
Santos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! TupperII gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. TupperII decides to return to a standing position. Derek Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. TupperII shoots in for a takedown and gets it. TupperII working the head and body with strikes. TupperII takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. TupperII has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos taking shots to the head. TupperII scores with a couple of good head shots there.
TupperII lands a big elbow. TupperII breaks from Santos's wrist control and lands an elbow. TupperII landing strikes from the mount and Santos is in trouble! TupperII wants to finish this one by submission but Santos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from TupperII. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. TupperII punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TupperII lands a nice shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. TupperII tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. TupperII raining down shots from the mount! TupperII with a couple of short strikes. TupperII is landing with some decent strikes but Santos is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Santos taking shots to the head. TupperII pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. TupperII controlling the pace for now. TupperII looking to finish Santos with some ground and pound. This is bad for Santos! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. TupperII is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Santos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Santos could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. TupperII has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Santos's face.
TupperII has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. TupperII controlling his opponent. TupperII working Santos over with strikes here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. TupperII lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby TupperII dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
TupperII lands a jab-cross combination. Santos tries to keep at a distance but TupperII has taken the fight into the clinch. TupperII breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. TupperII throws a combination. Santos tries to block but a couple of punches get through. TupperII lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
TupperII shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Santos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. TupperII pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Santos really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... TupperII with the ground and pound from mount. TupperII is landing with some decent strikes but Santos is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! TupperII breaks from Santos's wrist control and lands an elbow. That's one minute gone in the round. TupperII with shots to the head and body - Santos looks very uncomfortable down there. The referee warns Santos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
TupperII quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for TupperII but it's paid off an Santos is forced to tap! Nice work by TupperII.
