Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bruce Lee Roy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dover throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dover dodges the punch combination from Lee Roy.
Dover dips down and scores with a jab to the body. No luck for Lee Roy with that takedown attempt. Lee Roy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dover defends it nicely. Danga de danga de dang - Dover scores with a four punch combination! Lee Roy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ben Dover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee Roy. Lee Roy tries to clinch but Dover is having none of it. Dover sizes up Lee Roy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Good standup being displayed there by Dover as he connects with a hook. Dover's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dover duly obliges. Dover keeps the fight on the outside. Lee Roy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dover fails to land with a series of punches.
Dover jabs Lee Roy right on the nose. Lee Roy blinks but takes it well. Lee Roy tries to bum rush Dover with a series of wild strikes but Dover uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee Roy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee Roy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lee Roy is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dover is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lee Roy. Lee Roy looks gassed! Dover misses with a series of wild punches.
Dover throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee Roy. Jab by Dover. Lee Roy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee Roy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dover tests Lee Roy's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lee Roy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dover swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dover connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Lee Roy! He's out on his feet! Dover rushes in and drops Lee Roy with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ben Dover!
