Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tito Ortiz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz slips under a jab from Liddell. Ortiz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ortiz staying out of range there. Liddell shoots in and drives through. Ortiz sprawls well. A big left from Liddell misses. Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Liddell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liddell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ortiz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ortiz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Liddell wants to clinch up but Ortiz keeps it at a distance. Liddell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ortiz drives through with a takedown into guard. Liddell wants to stand up but Ortiz is controlling him. Liddell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liddell tries to get out of the position. Ortiz content to stall in guard here. Ortiz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ortiz is controlling him. Liddell pushes Ortiz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Liddell throws an overhand right that lands on Ortiz's shoulder, as Ortiz tries to avoid the shot. Ortiz staying out of range there. No luck for Ortiz with that takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Liddell.
Liddell throws a body punch but Ortiz moves out of range. Liddell misses with a looping left. Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Liddell looks to land a left hand but Ortiz moved out of range nicely. Liddell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ortiz. Liddell is breathing heavily. Ortiz avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell looks to land a right hand but Ortiz moved out of range. Liddell gets caught flat footed, as Ortiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ortiz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ortiz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Liddell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ortiz is controlling him. Ortiz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Liddell can't keep his opponent in guard - Ortiz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Liddell taking some punishment here, with Ortiz in his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Liddell has managed to free his arm - good work. Liddell trying to control from the bottom.
Ortiz works his way into full mount! Ortiz with shots to the head and body - Liddell looks very uncomfortable down there. Liddell tries to hold on but Ortiz postures up. Liddell really wants to buck Ortiz off and get back to his feet. Ortiz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Liddell can't escape the position.
Ortiz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Liddell tries to buck Ortiz off but Ortiz takes his back! Liddell has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liddell looking very determined here, making life difficult for Ortiz.
Liddell can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tito Ortiz dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Liddell tries to hold on but Ortiz pushes him away. Liddell flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Ortiz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Liddell is surviving well by controlling Ortiz's body position as best he can. Liddell is trying to escape the mount.
Liddell wants to control but Ortiz is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Liddell defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ortiz. Ortiz manages to capitalize on a mistake by Liddell to take his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Liddell can't escape the position.
Liddell is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Liddell trying to get back to his feet but Ortiz is in full control for now. Ortiz is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Liddell defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Ortiz tries to keep control of the position but Liddell is staying busy. Liddell is trying to stand back up. Liddell rolls, trying to escape but Ortiz keeps control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Liddell trying to control the hands but Ortiz won't let him. Liddell wants to get back to his feet. Ortiz looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Liddell controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Ortiz's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Liddell is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Ortiz has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Liddell is in real trouble here. Ortiz gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Liddell is tapping out! Ortiz wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tito Ortiz!
