Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirco CROCOP (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristarx Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CROCOP's entrance music is Duran Duran - Wild Boys. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CROCOP connects with a high kick.
Overeem throws a lazy head kick
and CROCOP counters with a right hand to the body.
A head kick by Overeem misses
and CROCOP counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
CROCOP tries to land a knee to the head but Overeem blocks with his arms.
CROCOP keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Overeem's efforts to push away.
Overeem has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
CROCOP prevents Overeem from breaking the clinch.
Overeem is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
CROCOP escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
CROCOP dodges the punch combination from Overeem.
CROCOP comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Overeem wants to clinch but CROCOP slips to the side
and CROCOP makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and CROCOP counters with a body kick.
Overeem looks gassed!
CROCOP throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Overeem darts in trying to clinch
and CROCOP moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
CROCOP connects with a nasty looking knee right to Overeem's face.
It looks like Aristarx Overeem has been cut.
Overeem is trying to break the clinch but CROCOP is controlling him.
A knee to the head by CROCOP.
CROCOP breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
CROCOP has taken the fight to the clinch.
CROCOP connects with a nasty looking knee right to Overeem's face.
CROCOP landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
CROCOP tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
CROCOP breaks the clinch.
CROCOP misses with a combination
and Overeem counters with an inside leg kick.
CROCOP misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Overeem throws a sloppy head kick
and CROCOP counters with a monster head kick that knocks Overeem out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mirco CROCOP!
