Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sans Pression- Numero 1. Joe Evans will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Wilkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Evans!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.
Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wilkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wilkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wilkins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Evans knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Wilkins is trying to work for a kimura but Evans is defending well.
Wilkins is looking for a kimura but Evans is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilkins to get the leverage.

Wilkins in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Evans tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wilkins!
