Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Tupper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Tupper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitoshi Masaru! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tupper avoids the head kick by Masaru.
Masaru connects with a solid leg kick. Masaru throws a head kick but Tupper moves out of range.
Masaru misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tupper avoids a kick to the body.
Masaru dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tupper. That did some damage! Masaru misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tupper scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Tupper is working for a submission of some sort.
Masaru works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper wants to get up but he can't break Masaru's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tupper trying to control the position from guard on top but Masaru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Masaru manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tupper manages to get himself to full guard.
Tupper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tupper is trying to control the position but Masaru postures up. Tupper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Masaru seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tupper wants to hit a switch here but Masaru passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tupper there! Tupper is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Masaru putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Masaru scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tupper?
Masaru lands with some strikes. Tupper is desperately trying to improve his position but Masaru has a good base and remains in mount. A nice elbow there by Masaru. Masaru landing strikes from the mount. Tupper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tupper tries to get out of the position. Tupper takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Masaru lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Masaru scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tupper is rocked! Masaru lands a big elbow - Tupper is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Tupper is forced to tap out!
