Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Will Kings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Kings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Ryan! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan wants to clinch up but Kings keeps it at a distance. Kings looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Ryan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kings sprawls well initially but Ryan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ryan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kings is in trouble now - Ryan has advanced to mount! A nice elbow there by Ryan. Ryan with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kings is squirming around, avoiding Ryan's attempts to control the action. Kings tries to reverse the position but Ryan maintains control. Ryan wants to finish this one by submission but Kings is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ryan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan controlling his opponent. Ryan with good strikes from the mount here! Ryan is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ryan dominating with strikes here. Kings takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ryan lands a heavy elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryan controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kings tries to lock up and control but Ryan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kings throwing hammer fists to the chest of Ryan. What's that going to do exactly? Ryan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ryan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ryan controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan lands a heavy elbow. Ryan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kings is looking to escape. Ryan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kings keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kings throws a strike from the bottom but Ryan uses the opportunity to take his back. Ryan controls the action. Kings trying to control the hands but Ryan breaks the grip. Ryan tries to keep control of the position but Kings is staying busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Ryan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ryan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jordan Ryan. Ryan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kings was covering up waiting for the punch and Ryan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ryan won't allow Kings to get back to his feet. Ryan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kings controlling the position. Ryan trying to control the position from guard on top but Kings is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kings looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ryan is one step ahead there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kings throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Ryan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kings is working an open guard so Ryan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kings ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fight stays on the outside here - Kings looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A combination from Ryan does no damage. Ryan tries to clinch up but Kings circles away and keeps his distance. Kings tries for a takedown but Ryan circles away easily and Ryan finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Kings shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kings wants to pass the guard but Ryan is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan looking to control.
Ryan keeping moving, preventing Kings from controlling successfully. Kings stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryan swivels though and keeps the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ryan can do anything to dispel that myth. Ryan pulls Kings in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kings pushing down on Ryan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kings wants to pass the guard but Ryan is defending well. Kings is trying to control the action in half guard but Ryan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kings is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Kings wants to control but Ryan is keeping him busy. Kings thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kings controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Ryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kings with a lazy takedown attempt and Ryan counters with a single leg into guard. Kings didn't expect that. Ryan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kings is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryan is controlling him. Ryan controls from within his opponent's guard. Ryan stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ryan gets the takedown into side control. Kings tries to buck Ryan off but Ryan is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kings wants to control but Ryan postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kings is pushing Ryan's head away, looking to escape. Ryan manages to hold on to the position though. Ryan decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kings stalks Ryan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ryan's face. Ryan staggers backwards, shaken. Ryan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ryan is pressing down on Kings's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kings is holding on for now. Kings pushes Ryan off looking to stand but Ryan dives back in and keeps control.
Ryan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kings looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kings does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ryan scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ryan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ryan passes the guard and advances to mount! Ryan scoring with strikes but Kings is staying in there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kings tries to get back to half guard but can't. You get the feeling that Kings really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Ryan trying to control but Kings is having none of it. Jordan Ryan has got the better of the ground game so far. Ryan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kings is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kings wants to control from the top but Ryan keeps moving. Kings stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ryan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kings has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kings and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ryan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Will Kings has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jordan Ryan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kings throws a head kick that misses and Ryan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kings won't be happy with that.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordan Ryan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ryan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
